You receive two alike colors through out the entire set. It is easy to use and they have stayed in for many days. The only one that fell out was because my son ripped it out when he was pulling my hair.. And that hurt very bad because he pulled my hair out with it. The little extensions used for pulling your hair through the beads was cheaper looking than I expected but it does the job. You can reuse the beads if one falls out before it cracks and everything.. I reused a bead twice one the one my son pulled out and it works just the same. They are easy to remove and re-position. It does take practice but I had it down after one go so I can promise so will you. Right now I have two of the aqua blue and one of the hot pink in my hair and I love how it looks. Now as for being able to style it.. It has not melted yet or anything but I would suggest turning your straighter down to a lower setting before passing over this. I had mine on about 400 degrees and it made the hair give off a weird smell. More chemical than anything so I have kept the temp down to about 275ish 300 and have not had that same problem again.
