I'm not sure why this did not come with instructions. I have never put them in hair before so I had to watch a couple of YouTube videos. It's very easy but would have been nice to have instructions in the package so I didn't have to do extra research. My daughter has fine, thin hair. The first time I put the in, I could see the bead. The second time, I put it so far down you couldn't tell the was in her hair! I guess I need more practice. It comes with alot of them and beads so we should be able to figure it out with a few more tries. Nevertheless, my daughter loves them.
